This ground-up custom residential project reimagines traditional space delineation through geometry instead of conventional walls. With a bold exploration of solid and void and a request from the client to keep right angles to a minimum, this design achieves a dynamic interplay that defines the living areas.

Riverside Retreat
Situated on a picturesque 5-acre site at the Deschutes River's edge, the single-level residence seamlessly integrates with its natural surroundings. Cantilevering over a gentle ravine, it offers breathtaking views of the rugged rock rims and wildlife trails.
Multi Generational Housing Architecture
Designed to accommodate multi-generational living, the residence features two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a bunk room, and an atelier. Its thoughtful layout caters to diverse family dynamics, ensuring comfort and functionality for all occupants.

The choice of materials, including lava stone, clear pine, and extensive glazing, reflects the earthy tones of the surrounding environment. This balanced palette creates a seamless transition between indoor and outdoor spaces, amplifying the residence's organic aesthetic.
